General information about calibration
Colors shown on the screen may vary between different types of display devices (monitors, LCD displays, etc.), and may even vary between two monitors of the same type due to configuration differences. This leads to a situation when the same pictures look differently on different computers.
Taking the above under consideration, the pictures presented on this site have been scanned to the sRGB color space. Thanks to this it is possible on a properly calibrated screen to exactly recreate colors of the pictures, allowing viewing the true colors captured on the film.
The below described calibration procedure allows one to quite exactly calibrate a screen without use of additional equipment.
Calibration procedure
Please set the color temperature in Your monitor to 5500K, if possible. If this is not possible, then please set the nearest setting (eg. 6500K) or use the shown below color target (template) to manually set the monitor colors (this method is advised for advanced users):

Next in the configuration of Your graphics card or using the graphics card's utilities delivered with the graphics driver, please set the gamma correction of the displayed screen, so the below presented red, green, blue and grey areas look uniformly - it means that there should not be any difference between the inner and outer part of each area.
